Monjaro
Geely's flagship crossover (Xingyue L in China) with ECARX infotainment. Debugging is enabled with a code in the dialer app. Important: this method only works on official dealer (OD) or GMC firmware - see the warning below.
Connect and installThis model's infotainment
The head unit runs on the ECARX platform (in the engineering menu, the "Major Version No" field contains the word ecarx). The exact processor and Android version are not stated in our sources. On the pre-facelift 2022-2024 Russian-market cars, debugging is enabled with a code in the dialer. We haven't checked OS firmware 2.0 / 2.2.0 - how debugging is enabled there is not confirmed on our end.
How to enable ADB on Geely Monjaro
Debugging is enabled with a code in the "Phone" app (dialer). Connection is only via a USB-A to USB-A cable.
🔴 The engineering menu contains live system settings. Wrong changes can cause boot loops, loss of sound, or CarPlay/Android Auto failure. Before changing anything - photograph the original position of every switch. Touch only the ADB toggle.
-
Open the "Phone" app on the head unit and dial #*32279 This is the code for OD and GMC firmware. The engineering menu will open. If the code doesn't work, don't try other codes at random - contact support: codes depend on the firmware, and the wrong code can open the wrong menu.
-
Photograph the original position of the switches So you can put everything back afterward. This matters.
-
Turn on the ADB toggle And remove the app-install lock if there's one nearby. Don't touch the other settings.
-
Connect a USB-A to USB-A cable from the head unit to the computer ⚠ Most USB-A to Type-C cables won't work - you need a USB-A to USB-A cable specifically (or USB-A with an adapter) for data transfer. Then click "Connect device" below.
-
Confirm the debugging prompt on the head unit screen An authorization window will appear - allow this computer.
-
After installing - restore the toggles to their original state and reboot the head unit Using the photos you took at the start.
Internet doesn't work on the head unit - apps can't sign in
On dealer (OD) cars, the head unit has no internet access out of the box. For the navigator and music apps to sign in, share internet to the head unit from your phone over Wi-Fi. This is a separate step, unrelated to ADB.
What to do if it won't connect
-
Check the firmware This method works on OD / GMC. On unflashed units, ADB is locked. We haven't checked OS firmware 2.0/2.2.0 - if that's yours, contact support, we'll figure it out together.
-
Check the cable You need a USB-A to USB-A cable specifically for data transfer. Most USB-A to Type-C cables don't work.
-
Check that the ADB toggle is on Go back to the engineering menu (dialer → #*32279) and make sure the ADB switch is in the on position.
-
Check your computer browser and OS Chrome or Edge on Windows 10/11 or macOS is required - other browsers and phones are not supported.
-
On Windows - install the ADB driver If the head unit still doesn't appear when you click "Connect device", some Windows PCs need the universal ADB driver: download here, install it and reboot. No driver is needed on Mac.
Connect and install
Connect the head unit to your computer via USB and install the recommended bundle in one click. Works in Chrome and Edge on desktop.
You need a USB cable and ADB debugging enabled on the head unit (see instructions above). On first connect, confirm the prompt on the car screen.
