Basic Applications
Yandex Navigator
Navigation with traffic jams, cameras and current maps of Russia is what the installation is most often started for. Works directly on the standard screen, large and without a phone.
The navigator needs GPS: on models where the head unit does not have a working GPS receiver, we do not include it in the kit - it is useless there.

Yandex Music
Music, podcasts and audiobooks from your account - instead of radio and flash drives. Control from the GU screen, to work you need the Internet in the car (SIM in the GU or an access point from your phone).
VK Video
Video and clips from VKontakte - pass the time in the parking lot or in line for charging. On some models, RuTube is installed instead or together with it.
RuTube
Russian video service - blogs, shows and programs on a regular screen. Included in the set of part of the models.
Replaio - internet radio
A replacement for the standard radio, which almost everyone complains about: the same stations are broadcast via the Internet - without interference, with normal sound and a modern dark interface that looks good on the car screen. 30,000+ stations, Russian ones are all there.
The FM receiver itself cannot be replaced with a third-party application - it only has access to the standard program, so Internet radio is the right solution. To work, you need Internet in the car (SIM in the GU or an access point from your phone).

File manager (CX File Explorer)
Browse and manage files on the GU: open the downloaded file, free up space, install APK from a flash drive. On a device without Google services, a normal file manager is a necessity.
Driver utilities
HUD Speed Pro
Radar detector: cameras, speed limit and warnings on top of any application - even a navigator, even music. Like the navigator, it works via satellites, so it is installed only on models with working GPS.

WiFi Connection
A utility for connecting PG to Wi-Fi networks - helps out on machines where the manufacturer has hidden or cut down the standard Wi-Fi settings. Without the Internet, online applications have nothing to do in the car, so on such models it is included in the kit.

Two applications on the screen at the same time: a navigator on top, music or video on the bottom. On a horizontal screen, divides left and right. Tested on Jetour T2. This is about the method of division itself; The current version of the application has not been tested in the car. The application itself is installed for free, it works for 7 days (or 15 launches) to test on your GU, then you need a one-time license - no subscription, no advertising and no data collection.

I wrote these applications myself - for tasks that cannot otherwise be solved on a standard screen. Both are free and installed from the same installer as the others.
Garage Tool Helper - helps with permissions
Applications on the GU need permissions: geolocation navigator, file manager access to memory, panels on top of the screen the right to draw over other windows. When installed through the website, we provide them, but applications that were installed earlier or in a different way may not have the required permission, and manually there is usually no such item on the standard screen.
The assistant goes through installed applications and shows where it can help itself and where it cannot. He issues regular permits directly to the State Administration. Android allows rights such as “over other applications” to be issued only from a computer, and the assistant marks such as requiring a cable. This mark means “I can’t issue it,” and not “you haven’t issued it”: the site issues some of these rights during installation, and then everything already works. If there is nothing to fix, he will say so - this is a normal result, not an error.
To issue rights directly on the machine, the assistant is set to device owner mode: without it, it cannot do anything, the button in the application simply does not work. The mode can be removed there, in the application itself, with the “Remove owner mode” button - this will also be needed if you decide to remove the assistant. GarageRemote - switching tracks from the steering wheel
The standard buttons on the steering wheel usually control only the factory player: you turned on Yandex Music - and you have to search for the next track on the screen. GarageRemote connects the steering wheel buttons with Yandex Music: the forward and backward tracks are switched without taking your hands off the steering wheel. It does exactly this - it doesn’t affect pauses, volume or other players, it only works with Yandex Music. The music should be playing: the remote control controls active playback, and pressing it while paused will do nothing. When you first launch it, go through two steps on the application screen: give access to notifications and turn on the remote control. The buttons for both are there. Tested on Jetour T2 with Android 11, including autostart after reboot.

There are no Google services on the head units of these machines - applications that depend on them (YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail) will either not start or will work crookedly. Therefore the set compiled from applications that run on bare Android: Yandex, VK, RuTube.
