Copy the key and activate it in the application on the head unit: “License” screen → insert the key → “Activate” (you need internet on the GU once). Save the key: it is needed when reinstalling the application. If you reset the GU to factory settings, write to support, we will remove the binding, and the same key will work again.
The key contains only numbers and capital letters. There are no letters O, I, L, U in keys - if you see The “round” symbol is always the number 0. It is better not to type it manually, but to copy it using the button below.
The head unit is completely without internet? Write to support - we will issue an offline license file .lic under your device ID (the application shows it).

Frequently asked questions
How to activate a purchased key?
After payment, copy the short key. Install GarageSplit on your head unit (free, like other applications), open it, go to the “License” screen, insert the key and click “Activate”. Online activation - at this moment the head unit needs internet (usually it already exists - the navigator and music do not work without it). After activation, the key is remembered, and the application then works without a network.
What if there is no Internet at all on the head unit?
Then there is an offline option: write to support and name the device ID (it is shown by the application on the “License” screen). We will issue a license file .lic for this device - it can be imported in the application without the Internet.
What happens after resetting the head unit to factory settings?
When resetting, the device ID changes and the personal license is no longer suitable. This is a normal situation for such GIs - write to support, we will reset the binding, and you will activate again with the same key. This does not apply to the installer license - it is not tied to it.
What machines does it work on?
GarageSplit divides the screen horizontally, top and bottom, so it is needed primarily where the screen is vertical: this is found, for example, on the Jaecoo J7.
We tested it on one machine - Jetour T2 with Android 11; others were not tested at all. And even there we saw the division method itself working: no one tested the current version of the application in the car - after that trip we changed how it folds out the windows, and since then we have only tested it on the stand.
On Android 8 and older, the division will not work: the mechanism on which it rests is not yet in the system. We have never tested it on Android 9 and 10.
That's why there is a free trial period: install the application and test it on your machine before paying.
